strange old knife

so i bought this knife a while ago and i couldn't find anything about it on the internet or anywhere so i thought i would come on here and see if any of you guys could help i cant find any way of posting a picture of it as i cant find it on the internet and it asks for a url so if anyone could tell me how to do that as well that would be great so for now i will describe it. it seems to be made fully of iron and the hilt is shaped like an eagle it has a decorative handle. the blade dosnt look very well forged as it isnt smooth or anything.

sounds like a mexican made piece. the eagle hilt was a common touch with them.--cranky72

Does the decorative handle have mother of pearl scales and does the handle look to be made of aluminum?
