Bocote and Cowhorn

Hi y'all, back at it again. This time I made a nice little hunter/neck knife. It has a 2 1/4" blade of 1095, bocote handle and a cowhorn spacer. Overall it's 5 3/4". I used a piece of 1095 for the guard as well. It feels really good in the hand, and balances right at the guard. Bocote is great to work and has a real nice grain pattern. Well have a look and let me know what ya think...Bud

Hey Bud
Nice job! Hard to see the spacer on my computer, but I like the look.

Thanks fellas, hey Larry now I posted another pic so you can see the spacer. I had it left over from the powder horn that I made...Bud

Thanks Dana, I came up with it after looking at a Tandy leather book one night. I set my electro-etch up for it. Hey BTW, we'll have to get together again one of these days for a little forgin...Bud

I love the smooth, clean lines of this knife. It looks way better in the top picture, by the way.

The touch mark is the sun sign from the Zia Pueblo. It is also used by the State of New Mexico as its symbol.
I have the stamp tool from Tandy and use it on selected sheaths.
