Convex Edge

Im not sure If I am doing the convex edge right ?

I want a good cutting edge this is where I am at

My Blade is 5160 hardened and tempered - 1 5/16 wide X 8
Spine thickest point 5/32 tappering to the point
I have flat bevels from the spine to a 1/32 edge
( I draw filed the bevels and took it to a 220 finish before hardening)

How should I finish shaping the balde?
Should I work it by hand tools ?
Thanks
Ron

The easiest way is to use the slack section of a belt grinder. If you don't have one you can use sandpaper on a soft backing, or you can use stones or sandpaper on a hard backing if you use a rocking motion.
