My First Typhoon butterfly

I thought you all might like to take a look at this one. It's my son's 22nd birthday present.
Black lip Pearl inlays and various mosiac pin stock insets. High polish on the handles and glass bead blasted blade.
I've got two more on the bench, ready for work but this one was way more work than I planned on. It took awhile to realize every time you do something on the knife, you have to do it four times!

Oh man...that's outa sight!

Set against the polished handles and the bead blasted blade the mosaic pins and the black lip pearl inlays really leap out at you!

Stunning job...

Thanks

Thanks guys, this one is a real labor of love.
I made the pearl inlays from scales I had.
One of the trick things I did was use 'glow' powder in the epoxy for the insets. It glows like a watch face in the total dark!!.

Thanks for all the good words!
It went over really big, The boy has blisters on his fingers from the practicing.

When is Darrell going to release the Glide bearing system to the general public? How about some sort of retro fit for all the older Balis out there.
