Tai..Alex....
Tai, have you heard anything from Alex in a while? Many of the ads for Kydex and knife supplies are from his knifemaking supply company. I was looking for something online, and ran across his site. There was a shipping issue with FedEx, and while looking for the person with whom I spoke, ran across a photo of Alex. I stopped by the KN forum administrator’s to say hi and ask a question, but never heard anything. Just wondered if Alex was involved anymore.
Also when I went to my search engine, I found several other knife forums, but not the Knife Network. I had to get a link from Todd to find the place. Perhaps social media has supplanted the forums as a means of communication, but I still prefer the forum.
Where did I leave my truck keys...?😉

I think he's still around, probably just busy with other stuff. I don't know what's up with the search engine issue, but it is kind of strange. Other than that, I'm not sure why the forums have dropped off so much. Maybe the forums do more brain damage and cause more mental illnesses than some of the other platforms.. dunno?

Maybe it’s just the new finally wore off the forums when FaceBook, Twitter, and the like came to bear. Also I never heard of the forums wrecking anyone’s marriages. I guess there’s not much allure in a bunch of dirty, sweaty guys who play with fire. I heard someone say one time, “FaceBook: Now Destroying More Marriages Than Jack Daniel’s.” It’s hard to look up old girlfriends on a knifesmithing forum.

I don't think knife network caused mental issues. It may have been a magnet for some.

It looks like Alex's last post was back in April and it's the only post he's made this year. Hope he's O.K.

When I talked to the salesman at Alex’s supply company, I asked him to say hello to Alex for me, and he said he would do that. If there was some issue or illness, I’m sure he would have said something; maybe not the details, but surely some indication there was a problem.
