Hey Joe!
Yeah, I have matched it up with three other examples in Gary's collection in the museum. I have some pics, but it's nearly impossible to take good pictures through the glass display cases with the lighting overhead. Most people only think of his "carvings" done in oak leaf patterns, but that is the farthest from the truth. No better place for research than the museum! |

On a side note: Here is another Golden Eagle carving at the museum that I have missed every time I've been there, because it's not located in the same place as the others. My guest with me pointed it out while she was looking at "the baby knives". LOL
It's a miniature bowie with almost the exact pommel as my Leschorn example! |
