Something I should know, but I don't, so I'll ask.....
I've seen various references to Stanaback/Stanabeck specials. What exactly does this mean and what makes these knives "special"?

Jerry,
The Stanaback "special" refers to a dealer model that you cannot order from the shop. You have to order this particular knife straight from the dealer. There is also other dealer "specials". There's the Clinton Sp. the Buxton Fighter Sp., Stoddard's Sp., AGR Sp., Nordic Sp., Rick Bowles Sp., Kenefick's Sp. (the sasquatch), and the aforementioned Stanaback Sp.
