Friction folder

This is the first friction folder I've made so far so be nice . It has a blade from Garry Kelley (Reproduction Blades), it is cast D2 and absolutely razorsharp. To make the handle I used a Zebu horn tip. It took me a while to figure out how to carve the horn so the blade fits OK but finnaly it worked. I used a hacksaw, two flat files (a small one and a medium one), 180 and 360 sandpaper. Zebu horn is cool, but smells like s#*t when you work it.
Now I have to figure out how to make the horn shiny! I's smooth, free of scratches but doesn't shine. Do you thing buffing it with the Dremel using the same compound as for metal and plastics will work? If not, how do you give a cool finish to horn?
Here are the pics:

It's almost 3:00 in the morning so I'll venture a guess. I have never worked with horn, but I don't think 360 grit is enough to make it shine. I would think you need to be closer to 800 or 1000 grit to make it shine.

It's a cool knife even without the shine
