The original satin Battle Rats were offered a while ago. This one didn't come out of the shop until around April of this year. I'd imagine that since it was probably finished at a different time it got the different etching. This is a nice piece.
Beat the snot out of it.

This was one of the blades that made it to Knob Creek. A lot of the times the show stock used for gun shows comes from overruns, leftovers from past runs and stuff just sitting around the shop that hasn't been sold yet. At that show I picked up a satin Euro Basic 6. There was a Public Defender, a couple of those satin drop point hunter Rats, some Bog Dogs in 3/16 SR101, a couple of Barfs a flying Badger-E and a couple of Safari Skinners in SR101. It was a mixed bag of stuff that thatmguy got for show stock.
That makes it kind of neat to attend some of the shows. You can sometimes snag things that aren't generally or at least no longer offered by the shop.
If you can hit the Columbus Ohio, Wilmington Ohio, Indy 1500 or Knob Creek I would do so. There was a Columbus show this weekend. I didn't make it because I'm saving for Blade next weekend.
