Randall Spring Shop Sale
I picked this Model 4-7" Crown Stag beauty up yesterday at the shop, 3 weeks after the sale date of April 11th!

Pretty wild. Good stain on stag too. I'm not that into stag, but this looks really good and has a force multiplier because it fits so well into the set. You did well.

That's a nice get. It's clearly "special Stag". For your other crowns you may want to consider having the eye tine bald spot carved and re-dyed. Don Hedrick did this one for me.

Wow! Sure looks natural, Rick. Thanks for posting a pic.

Thanks Rick, I have seen Don's magic on your knife before! Fantastic job! I have more than what is in the pictures here.
On a side note Rick..... can Oosic be scrimmed, or is it too hard?

It's not too hard but it's way too porous..... and a little bit creepy.

And here is the "Brother" to Ta2bills 4-7. Mr. Maynard told me at the spring sale that the shop had made up two similar 4-7's, and that I had picked the brother to Ta2bill s knife, which he had purchased over the phone. I was lucky to be able to get the exact knife I was looking for. I didn't own a model 4, and I wanted something with crown stag. This one was still available when I got in, so my choice was very simple.

The next time that you're in Florida Bill, We should re-unite our knives for a family reunion photography session! lol
I'm also thinking about giving Don a call, as per Rick's suggestion about sprucing up the brow tine bald spot on it for me.

I would very much enjoy a "reunion" of the brothers. Get a few shots of them together.
Next time I'm down there, we will make it happen.
And yes, that suggestion by Mr. Bowles looks fantastic. Fine work.

Thanks Jeremy! Looks like you could sell a few car parts and be well on your way to being a Randall Knife Collector!
