'auto' vs 'switchblade' terms
OK someone mine telling me what the difference between these two terms are? Are they the same thing or is one a specific type/style?

The terms are interchangeable.
"Switchblade" generally has a negative connotation to the "sheeple", but it means the same as a "automatic" knife. For the purposes of law they are one and the same. |
