Hi-Tech Rescue knife concept: The Loop Trojan.
Loop Trojan is a concept rescue knife purpose, medium size, large Thickness and hard resistance.
This is my second design exercise. The exclusive handle brings together functionality and elegance, the blade is basically utility, but without forgetting the design. Anyone would be interested in execute this project? Thank you. Last edited by Caiosouza; 04-12-2012 at 11:36 AM. |

That could be a good looking knife when finished.
I have been following your drawings of the knife so may I ask a few questions? You stated medium sized knife, I am 6 ft 8 what is medium sized to me may be large or small to others. I would suggest posting approx blade and overall length. What do you intend by large thickness, 3/8, 1/4? You asked this ( Anyone would be interested in execute this project)? Are you asking if someone would build a knife that way for you? Or are you wanting to know if someone would like you to build this knife for them? As I look at you knife I find the drawing both well thought out and well drawn. I can understand the functions of all parts of your knife except the guard. The end of the guard on the spine side is close in, while on the belly side is further away. Just an observation! That is a great looking design. Thanks for sharing. The design of the guard, in addition to its essential function, has an appeal only decorative, but can be changed, because it is quite different from usual. I wish someone had an interest in my designs become reality without any commercial interest immediately, if someone liked my drawings i can create some very innovative ideas. I have a good knowledge about knives, but do not have all the necessary resources to make it I'm thinking of making a copy just like concept for exhibiting, using materials easier to work. I've seen a lot of prototyping done with G10. It works very well!
Cool knife design! I hope you bring it to life... Alex __________________ Alex Whetsell [======]~~~~~~~> Atlantavirtual.com Atlanta NOC |

Very neat design, while I would consider this a show knife, it could be very functional. Unless of course I found myself in a terminator type future (just what it makes me think of :P).
I wish I had the means to build a knife like this, but my machinery definitely limits me to simpler designs to produce efficiently. Would love to see it come to life though! |
