Welcome to the forum. That's a great looking Big Bear Bowie. They are one of my favorite Randall designs. Here is a pic of mine made in the mid 1960's
In my opinion, engraving a modern Randall in many cases enhances the value. Especially when done by a recognised engraver like the late Tom Leschorn.
I say modern Randall because to engrave an early collectable Randall and changing the original look of the knife would detract from the value.
