Bill, I gotta ask, what the significance of the Apollo 7 Space Cover in with the special little bear?

Regards, Sam

Hey Sam,

The letter dated 6/10/69 that accompanies this Little Bear talks about the knife as well as the man receiving it. His name was PVT. Richard (Dick) Douglass, was a friend of Bo and Gary, and was aboard the USS Essex, which was to be the recovery ship for the Apollo 7 Space Mission. The Essex was decommissioned a couple months after this letter was written by Bo.
