Hi ya Saw, another Indy guy
I have a HF 4x36 that I use for flattening wood and steel. I also use the 3" wheel for hogging.
I personally use my modified 1x30 for everything. I have been using it for 4 years now and
not much I can't do with it. By no means am I recommending getting one.
I have heard that the Sears 2x42 would be a good starter. It would get you introduced to
using a 2" belt and basic grinding techniques.
