Review of August 13, 2016 GCKG meeting/Next meeting in Vienna, Ga. on Oct. 22 at 9:00

We had a lovely time in the mountains at Dennis & Beverly Bradley's home/shop in Blairsville, Ga. last weekend. Many thanks to them for hosting. Good food, good meeting, and a good time was had by those in attendance. A total of 15 guests, with 5 new members, and 28 club members were present. Thanks SO much to Wayne Hensley for the donation of the scholarship knife. Also thanks to Chuck Patrick, Dennis Bradley, and Paul Hamler for the very informative demos!
Our Knife of the Quarter was won by Doc Sangster!! Congratulations.
Once again the "lunch ticket" system worked great! We thank everyone for signing in.
The Guild now has a Facebook page. Please check it out!! It is a closed group, so first timers will need to request to be in the group. You need to type name as follows: Georgia Custom Knifemaker's Guild
Our next meeting will be in Vienna, Georgia at Colonel Ambrose's lodge and will be hosted by Doc Sangster and Jim Collins on October 22, with a Friday evening social on the 21st. See directions below:
