My suggestion would be a composite type shot. Under expose by -.5 or 2/3'rd stop then a normal. Then in your editor an exposure merge. This necessitates minimal two exposures so you'll want to do this with a tripod in most instances. Can also be done on a single exposure if you are willing to post shot process the RAW file similar to taking the shot twice.
