Ive never watched the show but I've read and heard enough about it that i think I can come to the conclusion that while this show has become very popular apparently, and piqued the interest in knife making, in reality it has contributed very little positive, isn't REALLY reality based, and has very effectively spread a whole lot of misconceptions.
I can see a scenario where someone buys a custom made knife only to damage it with some ridiculous "test" and then be upset at the craftsman for his "inferior" product.
