I don't think making Loveless designs will be a problem since probably 80% of the knifemakers out there either are currently, or have made, Loveless inspired knives.

I would go to a show, or two in Europe and see what the makers there say about 416SS. I'm sure that someone can help you. Of course, there are knife forums there, also, where you can get some help.
