Need info on Sheffield carving set
I have found this old carving set which my parents acquired at a yard sale for a couple bucks. As of late I have become quite interested in antique knives and recognized similar knives on the Sheffield website. I was shocked when I noticed the date stamped in the knife reading 1886. I have the case as well as sharpener and fork. Under the bedding of the the interior fabric I also found the initials of the maker. Just wondering if anyone could help me with any knowledge they could share and perhaps a guess to the value. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
