For the record, spikes at best are .35%. If they are REMA spikes (what's required to be used today) they are .17-.25%/c. You may be aware, but the RR can charge trespass for walking on the rail right of way. They will also press charges for theft for those junk spikes. I'm just mentioning it for those who may not know.
