My pleasure Ed. I thought it would strike up more of a conversation than it did. There seemed to be quite a few here on CKD interested in Bowie history. Digging around a stirring up some stink can lead to interesting revelations. That one Huber's we found is a good example.
I noticed there was no link to the English Hubers post when I responded to the post by Shakudo asking for a date on
theSearles bowie knife. While checking my facts after the fact this thread came up. The two threads were together but got separated. I thought they should be linked together. The beautiful pics and the text you provided make it a great thread. Hopefully more info will come to light as time goes on.
