I use JB Weld if having a black grey glue isn't a problem or I use West Systems G-Flex epoxy glue. And if you have a customer who insists upon putting his kitchen knives in the dishwasher you want ole JB, it's rated to 600 degrees. My brother used JB over 20 years ago to keep his rear fender on his truck and it's still stuck on there. He half expects it to fall off, but laughs because it is the only fender that doesn't rattle.

The 2 glues set up in 30 min for the JB and 45 mins for the G-flex. Don't use 5 min epoxy ever and the reason I use the expensive g-flex is because it supposedly isn't engineered to begin to fail in 30 years. Of course I use loveless screws on my handles beside just pins.
