Personally, I would not recommend using that type of VFD for a grinder application. I've worked with them before, and tried to help many other individuals with problems centered around that type/style of VFD. Experience has taught me that using a KBAC VFD, with the Nema enclosure is your best bet for easy setup, usability, and durability.

ANY VFD that has those "touch pad" controls is a problem waiting to happen.....especially in the type of environment they are exposed to in a knife shop.
