Cheap rotary tables

Hi all,
I'm considering entering the slipjoint folder fray, and like the idea of rebating the liners around the pivot hole. I own a small, but accurate benchtop mill, and was thinking of purchasing a cheap 3" or 4" rotary table for this purpose. Has anyone got any experience with the sub-$200 rotary tables I'm seeing on ebay?
I'll be the first to admit that I despise buying garbage tools, but as I'm just dipping my toes in the water, I'm wondering what the experience of others has shown with these contraptions. Adequate? Avoid at all costs?

Thanks in advance!

Matt
