Mark, I understand there are a number of different grades of wrought iron. The lesser grade being the wagon wheel. Without really doing anything to it you can sort of see the layered look. Once the host for my web page gets fixed I'll see about taking some pictures of what I have. I had gone fishing a few months back and ate at a restraunt out at the coast and noticed a really old anchor inside. I had seen it before a time or two but this last time it was just obvious that it was WI. It had had some damage done to it and the way it had rusted it looked simular to stalagtites. I prefer using the wagon wheel since it is easier to see the layers....
