I needed a new jack just cause , and I also needed a Kydex press , I was tired of setting on a board to press , so I built this. Its a bit overkill @ 20 ton , air over hydraulic , but I bet it'll get-er-done. It's made from 3" channel with 3/4" pin so I think it will hold up for many uses.
The three pics show : 1 open , 2 midway , 3 closed and ready.
I can also put a piece of foam on the top and adjust acordingly for double sided sheaths.
I'm going to try some denim "micarta" soon also , I think it will work for that as well.
