Here you go Guys, some pics of progress.
I was apprehensive at first as I wanted to keep as much of the natural texture as possible.
I ended up grinding way more than originally intended but it was a bit "chubby" and needed to loose some heft around the girth. The result feels great in the hand and I'm looking forward to doing another one.

It's only roughed out with a bit of 150 grit hand sanding.

The question now is how to finish it to bring out it's best? Any tips Guys?
