Most of the regular knife supply houses have 440C in small quantities. And, you definitely want C, not A or B. Check alphaknifesupply.com , they handle drops and excess inventory pieces so their steel is top quality with a smaller cost. If they don't have what you want, then Jantz or one of the others should have 440C. It is a little scarce at the moment if you want thin stock but 1/8" or thicker shouldn't be a problem. Texas Knifemakers will do the HT for about $5 ...
