We had great fellowship and a very good Guild meeting at Twin Blades Shop in Statesboro this past weekend. Many thanks to Charlie and Harry Mathews for hosting. (and Alice!) A total of 54 folks were in attendance. We added two new members.
Thanks to Allen Surls, John Shore, and Stephan Fowler for three informative and interesting demos.
Thanks to Carl Rechsteiner for donating the Scholarship Knife. It was won by Joshua Mason from Hinesville, Georgia.
Our Knife of the Quarter winner was Russell McNabb!! Congratulations! It was a hard decision to decide who to vote for! I like them all!
Our next meeting will be at the home/shop of Scott Davidson in Alto, Georgia on May 14th, with a social gathering on Friday evening, the 13th. And just in case you really want to plan ahead, our August meeting will be at the home of Dennis Bradley in Blairsville, Georgia on August 13th with a social on Friday evening the 12th.
