A tip and a question Michael.

I typically finish grinding at 220 or 320 if I have some extra belts. Then I start the linear hand sanding with 220/320 to start and ending with the 400 grit. Here's another tip, get the water based diamond compound and then you can add some to the 400 grit sandpaper. It really helps to get those deep scratches out quickly.

I had a question about the carbon fiber scales. Does the carbon fiber material dull cutting blades? I was gifted some CF material, about enough for one medium size handle and I have never worked with this material before. I read its worse than fiberglass and to wear surgical gloves when grinding or hand sanding, but I don't recollect if it dulled cutting blades.
