Nice press, looks like a beast. I built a Clayborn style and it works well, but if I had it to do over I'd do one like that with I beams. Looks like your guid is very ridge and should have minimal "wiggle" I used Square tubing and even with 1/2" plates front and rear I get a little wiggle, not bad, and not bad enough to replace, but not as precision as it could be.
