Thumbs up Making a framelock folder

A framelock folder CAD design is included in the cost of this course.

A framelock differs from a locking liner folder only in that no bolsters or scales are required and the liners are made of thicker material.

Minimum required equipment:

Drill press, belt grinder, band saw, a Dremel type cutoff disk arbor and discs, Torx screw#######, drills, reamers, a countersink bit, miscellaneous hand tools, sandpaper, a #2-56 SPIRAL POINT tap, T-handle tap wrench, tapping fluid.

Suggested equipment: Milling machine, buffing machine, sand and bead blaster, anodizer for titanium.

Materials required:

3/32" 6AL/4V titanium sheet, 1 1/4" wide blade steel, 3/16" and 1/8" straight pivot pins, a bronze bushing, bronze or Nylatron washers, and Torx screws.

Duration of course: 45 days.

Cost including CAD design: $59.95
