If I'm picturing what your talking about correctly....

I get two different effects...in two different ways...

1. Bead blasting, which gives what a lot of folks would call "Gray T#&d" color/look.

2. Finish the Ti with a wire wheel (wire brush wheel), which gives the Ti an "orange peel" effect.

3. A combination of both 1 & 2, Finish the Ti on a wire wheel, then bead blast....to me that develops the closest to what I would call "frosted".
