appraisal needed

Can anyone recommend a knife appraiser (custom knives)? I assume the charge is based on the time required, but am I correct?

Hi Alan,

Is this appraisal for insurance purposes or selling purposes?

alan kupferberg 10-07-2009 08:05 AM

Insurance purposes. I don't plan on selling any.

Hi Alan,

Send a copy of your list to me at: customknives@comcast.net

Price will range from $0.00 to $10,000 :D depending on how many knives and if they are "unusual".

alan kupferberg 10-08-2009 08:16 AM

Thanks. I will catalogue the knives. Only one or two might be unusual. All were bought from modern makers in the last 5-10 years. All are engraved.

HI Alan,

Make sure you include the engravers names.
