My name is Dana Acker, and long ago, I was one of the moderators at The Outpost forum. In fact when I logged back in for the first time in a long while, my profile still says moderator. I left knifemaking and the forum due to some catastrophic health issues my wife had.

In hopes of re-connecting with some of my old compadres, I began posting again. Interest has been slow, but we're getting more views and some folks are posting again. As I'm still listed as a moderator, I wanted to check with you. I realize that my disappearance may have disqualified me to be a moderator, and if so, I completely understand. I just wanted to let you know what's going on, so it doesn't appear that I'm trying to hi-jack one of your forums without you knowing what's happening. Howdy, I've tried posting an advertisement for my knife on here twice. Both times I received a message stating that I need to wait and see if it was approved by the admin or not. Its been about a week now. Should I bother re-posting it, or wait a bit longer?
