my name is Achim Wirtz and i am living near Aachen at only 5 km from the belgian frontier. I have good contacts to german steel mills and i can tell you that many of the tool steels used in the USA are actually coming from Europe. D2 is 1.2379 and O1 is 1.2510 in the european system. hi,I've got some problems with your identification of certain kinds of steel to use..here in belgium there is no such thing.I think we just use a european version but i can't find any steel to compare with your system.could you help me out here because its getting me down a bit. i know that w2 is file ..if somebody could help me out this way that would be great!
