Darrel,

Would it be really cost prohibitive for future kits to use alumminium?. I notice quite a bit of factory production blades use alumminuim in thier construction.

The reason I'm asking is because the liners and such can be anodized..

To me that would add a whole new dimension to the kits..

Ed,

The aluminum is a good idea . It does not however fit into our product philosophy.

The liners and bolsters can be colored on the kits to several colors using heat.

Look for archives about coloring the stainless.

Look in the faq section on the knifekits.com site also.
