I just got a TC4 kit with the carbon fiber scales. The problem is the holes in the scales are not round, so the pins do not slide into them.
This is my first kit, so I thought I would see what you guys might come up with to rectify this situation in the easiest manner.
I am afraid if I clamp them together then redrill the holes, they will end up to big, or a part of the hole will be larger that it needs to be. I guess I could just fill them with black epoxy when I glue everything together, but I hope there is a better way.
I want to try some file work. What type of files do I need to pick-up? What type of store carries such a thing (home depot, etc)?
I do have dremel.......
Thanks in advance for the help!
