So I'm guessing I'm not the only one that sat on my front porch last weekend with a pumpkin and about 6 kitchen knives in front of me trying to firgure out how to turn a big orange gord into a scary Jack-o-lantern for the kids. I realized that although I have quite a few knives (actually a LOT of knives) I really don't have a perfect pumpkin carver. I'm not really even sure what the perfect pumpkin carver would be.

In any case I this might be a fun future KITH that we could start in the spring and deliver in the first part of October '08. What do you guys think?

The entire time I was carving those pumpkins, I kept wishing for the perfect "pumpkin knife". Closest I came was a Kershaw Leek - but even it wasn't ideal. I think it's a great idea - I'd like to join that KITH.
