Vintage Western Bowie [Archive] - The Knife Network Forums : Knife Making Discussions

Hello, since Camillus now owns Western Knives I figured this was a good place to ask a question. I have what I believe to be a very old Western Bowie, this knife is only marked WESTERN Boulder Colo. USA on one side and just the word BOWIE on the other. There are no numbers and I think the sheath is original to it. The only BIG problem is that whom ever owned it before me must have broken or removed the original handle and ground down the tang. I would like to restore it to original specs, can someone help me.
