A while back I posted about tracking problems with my B3. I think I've solved what's wrong with my particular situation. I have noticed that there is some side play where the arm sockets into the machine. When I would change out arms, I would tension the belt on the platten attachment by holding the tension arm with my left hand while at the same time tightening the retaining lever on the top with my right hand. Sometimes I would get the arm right and have good tracking. Sometimes, because of the play in the arm socket, the arm would be canted off slightly and tracking would be all over the place. Now, when I do this, I simply make sure to tighten the retaining lever on the side first and then the top one so that the arm is set at the same place side to side each time. Tracking is better now. Hope this helps someone.
