Well here is my first knife of 2006. I was out of order for awhile and praticed Japanese ito wrapping since the shop was off limits. Not sure what type you would call this so I am up for suggestions. I had to be a bit resourceful for materials so be kind. Good to be back here again:rockon:

If you want a Japanese name for it I suppose you would call it an aikuchi or perhaps a kwaiken.

Thanks for the imput. I am getting some lititure together to make a more traditional tanto. This was just an experiment with some odd parts I had laying around.
