I have made 1095/5160 two times now without problems. I want to try 1095/L6 and 1095/52100. These mixes are already prepared for welding. Im just waiting for the time as I do it by hand. Well, with a hammer in hand. 1095 and 5160 would both be dark, as would 52100. L6 is the only bright steel in your list. Go for 1095/L6, 1095/15n20 might be even easier.
