Howdy all! I am planning on making a documentary, either featuring 4-5 custom knife makers, or collectors. What I need to help finding proper funding, or pointed in the right direction.

Could you elaborate on your plan (estimated costs, marketing, etc.), as it is now? It would probably elicit more feedback.

No sure of costs. The documentary would be showing how 4-5 different makers Make a knife, and either interviews with collectors or following a few of the bigger collectors around a show andsee what they do.

The end result when edited I hope will be a film that will show Makers and collectors in a positive light, and show non-knife people that ALL knives are not scary, and neither are people who collect them.


I would imagine it would be a 6 month effort, going to 1-2 majors shows and 4-5 knifemakers shops. Would need camera, crew, editing etc.
