View Full Version : Minature Bowie

I haven't seen many or any minatures being posted. I thought some of the viewers would like to take a look.
The little bowie is 2 1/4" long. The blade is heat treated 440-C and is hollow ground. The tear drop guard is engraved Stirling silver (hard to see in photo). The handle is carved Ivory. I had a special stamp made by Evers some years back especially for stamping minatures ( hard to see). I stamp my logo just in front of the guard. These little knives wreck havoc with the tips of your fingers, but they really make you appreciate fit and finish. I hope you enjoy. I would like to see more little knives and am sure others would also.

I hope you'll post more of those little beauties, Jim- and I know Terry Kranning would be delighted to get a picture of this one to publish in the Miniature Knifemakers Society newsletter!

Nice looking. I'm partial to miniatures myself. :)

Don can you supply info on the Miniature Society?

Don
Thanks for the information....I'll contact Terry by e-mail tonight.
I don't make many of these little knives but when I do I always am supprised at how nifty they are....they really are fun to make.
Thanks
Jim
