Here is my horns so far, work in progress..

http://www.ic.sunysb.edu/stu/jhom/typhoonhorns.jpg

i'm using a dremel to shape them at the moment, and of course low grit to high grit sandpaper to finish. There's gotta be an easier or more precise way to do this! Any advice?

So far they dont clip my skin anymore, i can actually do finger rolls fine provided the knife doesnt lock up from lack of loctite. Now that the functionality's there, i intend to style them up a bit. I actually REALLY like the way Darrel Ralph has the horns shaped on his venturis.

Looking good. Excellent work on the horn with just the Dremel.

Horns are also on my schedule to tackle. But I hope to have my belt sander by then to help make the job easier.

How does the swing.

I still havent been able to get a hold of some loctite, but it swings pretty good even with out any kind of lube. It's DEAD quiet with most of the sound being the latch smacking back and forth and its incredibly smooth.

That looks great! Why do you call it a work in progress, what more are you going to do with it? I think that's the first time I've seen someone mess with the horns on a typhoon, nice going!
