For my own twisted reasons I am interested in finding a replica of the sword used by Patrick Swayze in Steel Dawn. I would be willing to pay to have one made, provided it won't cost a fortune. Anyone out there who can help me out?

Try Reese Weiland - for a sword you will get the best quality at a very reasonable price, but if you go with any custom maker, you are going to pay because those things are a pain to make.

Reese's # 813.671.0661

Thanks, D. You wouldn't happen to have an e-mail address or website URL for him, would you?

Welcome to the CKD, Phil! Twisted maybe to us. Pretty norm for you.... ;) :D Never heard of this one. Looks like a 'B' movie to the max. Cool.

Thanks for asking. Good luck!

Ha! That about sums it up.

To call it a "B" movie is to overestimate it. The actual sword in the movie is made of sheet metal, and wobbles accordingly. (I'm hoping to do better than that.) The villain wanders around in a Tina Turner wig held on with a headband. There is plentiful stupid dialog and lots of dust and scrap metal buildings. Kind of Road House meets The Road Warrior, only without any of the things that made Road Warrior cool and Road House worth watching.

I actually reviewed Road House on my web page and hope to do a review of Steel Dawn eventually.
