I just wanted to show off what your cd is capable of. I greatly appreciate that you took the time to produce a great cd.

Thank you very much.

You are coming along just fine, Joe! Keep up the good work and thank you for showing the fighter to us!
I'm curious as to how you got that thick red fiver to bend around the corner as the handle material meets the guard? Or is it mortised?

It is two pieces. one along the spine, and one against the guard.

Thanks for the kind words

Looks quite good. I always shy away from the thicker spacers for that reason, making that joint look as good as yours does. I'm glad that the dvd was helpful. That's why we did it. - that and the millions of dollars that it's making. lol ;>))

Beautiful Knife!

Many years ago when Angus Campbell supplied our spacer material for tennis rackets, the thinner spacer material was available. I was able to get some .015 from Pops a while back but I have not been able to purchase the .010 spacer for a while now. Any suggestions as to where to order the .010 thick spacer material now days? There are just some places where the .010 adds a real touch of quality and beauty.

I know of 3-4 makers who have searched the web and found "fibre" and told me that it was supposed to be red and supposed to be .013" but never did things pan out. It shows up every 3-5 yrs, it seems, but just "shows up!" I don't know where you'd find it. I don't know when the last time was that I was able to get some. Seems like it was Texas Knife Supply, but I'm pretty sure that they do not have it now.
