I have the Pilot's Knife that my Dad carried through 79 missions in WWII as a P-47 Thunderbolt pilot. When I was a kid I found it rotting away in the garage and cleaned it up a little and made TERRIBLE wood handles for it cuz the leather rings were rotting off. It's kind of unusual in that it is not a mini K-Bar like I am used to seeing as a pilot's knife. It looks like it says Finest-Cut. It may have just been something he had from the farm and took with him when he went overseas. It is a sheath knife 9.75 inches overall with a 4.5 inch blade.

Does anyone know anything about this knife?
